The ideas presented in this class period were fun, exciting and...Ah...I don't know how to do any of this!
Using video conferencing in the classroom sounds so exciting! If I'm excited I can see how engaged the students would be to conference with another classroom at their own school or another school in another district. I have lots to learn though!
I enjoyed the idea that technology need not only be the means by which we meet a learning objective, but the technology process can be the learning objective. Students will need to learn digital etiquette in addition to learning how to use technology in educational formats.
Professional collaboration is a resource that is so integral when teaching in the first year. I hadn't previously realized, but we have the perfect group of teachers with which we can generate and share ideas right here in our cohort!
